Tell ya what... why don't we meet at the White Oak store (the little gas station on the left just up hwy23 from Hog Trough Liquor) at around 10:30am on Sat and from there we can decide where we want to paddle. That'll give us time to run shuttles and be on the water around noon or earlier.

Hey wojack was you at the pool wed. i kinda started helping you at first, i was wondering when you say kings pool is that down where the cabins are. Are you accessing from there from river right or left? i hace been around for a while and know no access from river right to there.

Yeah, that was me at the pool on Wed. King's Hole is down in the nat'l forest, no cabins around it that I'm aware of. There's a road (CR430 on yahoo maps. I'm wanting to say it's royal oak road.) a ways down past Rheobeth Church on the Wire Road off of hwy 23 that goes to it.

I don't have a problem meeting at Turner and it'd be cool to run the upper, I haven't run it in probably 4 months or so.

I'll run whatever section anyone wants too, I just didn't want to drive all the way down the pig trail and then all the way back up. Anyway I'm headed out for the night to see some good old gypsyfunkgrumbleboogie so someone comes up with a firm plan (four seven nine) eight seven one - zero three six zero

High Bank to Byrd's sounds good to me---or Wolf Pen to ?.... I just want to get on the water, but need a moderate run, timewise. I'm cooking Sat. evening, so I must be there! Meet at 11:00 and at the put in by noon?

High Bank to Byrd's works for me too. I haven't done that run in a few months. Turner Bend at 11 then?

Ther ya go pup. Hang with the 'namers and see the local stuff. Save the Tot for a day worth driving. If you're a playboater dierks is cool, 'cause it usually goes all weekend if it's running Fri.

Had a lot of fun! The sun came out and the water must've been a balmy 34 degrees or so. It was good to paddle with new folks and with those I've paddled with several times before.
Brad, thank you for suggesting to me that I paddle Sat. rather than Sun.
