rod holders

Post by fettsway » Sun Apr 20, 2008 9:12 pm

has anyone successfully mounted a rod holder for fishing but bypassed the drilling part, whereby you attached the rod holder without drilling more screws into your boat? Glue, clamps, etc????

just wondering, thanks!

Canoe or Kayak?

Canoe is easy.

Kayak - which type of rod holder (scottie topside mount type) or (Flush mount tube type)?

i was never fond of rod holders most of the time you end up catching more limbs, and bushes .... do you use a skirt? if not ,slip the reel end down between your legs and the pole end under your arm.... or the reel end between your legs and point the rod tip out front.. im sure you have done this
