Flatwater Paddle, Saturday, August 29

Flatwater and recreational paddlers: Join in for a fun and leisurely paddle Saturday, August 29. We will put in at the Choctaw Recreation Area boat ramp to explore the west end of Greers Ferry Lake and/or paddle up into the South Fork of the Little Red River. A group will be leaving from Conway Towne Center parking lot (on Skyline Drive/Hwy 65 North -- right off Exit 125) at 9 a.m. (look for us in the parking lot a little way out from the Office Depot). If you are coming from a different direction, we should be at the Choctaw boat ramp by about 10 a.m., and you can meet us there. We will be on the water for 3-4 hours with a break or two. Bring lunch and/or snacks and plenty of water. For those who wish to participate, we are planning to play Musical Boats during the last half of our paddle -- show up to find out what this involves!

Amy, Thanks for posting this... It sounds great... except maybe for the "flatwater" part... but, still thanks!!
