Jon's Family, Meal Train

Post by kru1 » Mon Jul 14, 2014 1:03 pm

I want to draw to everyone's attention that there is a "Meal Train" on Facebook. This was created by Jon's sister as many have expressed wanting to bring over a meal for the family. There is no pressure, but if you want to sign up for a meal, this an easy way to coordinate so the meals are spaced out.

Liz and I visited with Jenny and the family yesterday. They expressed a sincere and strong love to all of our paddling community. I don't mind to be the conduit between the family and the club; many details will be forthcoming this week with regards to the memorial - celebration of life, etc.

The club will also be doing some specifics too, but for now I just wanted everyone to know that there is a meal calendar out there. Also, please add anyone to this list if you see they are missing.

Presently, folks have signed up for meals to bring meals thru 8/28/14. If you don't cook, a gift card for a local restaurant would be a nice reason to get out of the house or perhaps a gift card to something fun for the kids like Chucky Cheese or a movie.
