Monday April 7 - new creek

Gonna go somewhere. Looks like the Middle fork of the White got the good stuff.
Hazel valley run prob. Looks like they got 3-4 last night.

OR...........there is a new creek that I know nothing about.
It got enough rain. Anyone up for an adventure?
Close to Fayetteville, 1.8 - 2 mile run.
Easy shuttle.
Creek drops just over 100 ft. in 2 miles.
I have never hiked, scouted, or in any way explored this creek.
It will be for experienced paddlers only,
I am anticipating a shallow fast rocky creek.
Creek boats recommended.

a new creek......sounds like fun! I saw a few last week that look pretty sweet as well over in the Richland Creek Watershed of Madison Co.

I have now accomplished most of what I need to do as far as work goes. and can shake free and ready to go in 1 hour for a local new creek of interest, or another neighborhood run.

Well the new creek (Snake Creek) was a bust,
Are you allowed to put a locked gate across a county road?
no matter how remote it is it just seems wrong.....
Oh well two different runs on the West Fork of the White
made for a great day...........
