I spoke with the neighbors yesterday and we believe that the south side access will be open until further notice.
Please be prepared to park on the far side of the barriers if asked.
We've been having lots of fun, come out and join us!

Thurs. 2_27 Destruction of the bridge should take a new twist today.
The bridge itself will be drug/pushed into the river before being cut up to
be removed. This will mean a closing of the river.
I will be going there this afternoon, I will report back with the final schedule.

They took down the old steel bridge at Fisher Ford Road Bridge today. They've got heavy equipment in the river at the bridge site cleaning up debris. They are working on this as fast as they can.
As of now, we have NO access. From either side. The park itself is considered a construction zone, so please respect the posted signs! Please give these guys some room to work. They've told us they will let us know what their work plans for the weekend are later tomorrow. The sooner they can get this done, the sooner we can get back in the water.
As soon as we know, you will know.
Thanks
Dan

The road crew is headed home for the weekend.
Access is just as before, south side.
Bridge will be demoed Monday and brought down Tuesday.
It will take at least one maybe two days to get the steel out of
the river.
I will keep you posted.......

Access should be clear for Fri. & weekend.
Be aware of metal hazards at bridge site.
Look downstream before you launch.....
Access is from South Side.....

Jerry- Work is trying to keep me from the ford, but if I can finish all my projects by noon Friday, I'll try to be there on the river by 130 or 2 .-M-

It should be a good weekend to get out to the park.
Snow melt will raise the level starting tonight or tomorrow.
Access is still from the South, be careful of any bridge dangers
still in the river. you might look at a walk down on the downstream
side of the old bridge site. Still on the river left bank......
