Re: Rockport
Deuce,
It's not Rockport, but I'm hoping to milk another Upper Caddo trip on Saturday if you'd care to come. Probably meeting at the Glenwood Bridge (downstream side) at about 10:45.
Best Regards

Jim,
My son Dillon and I would like to meet with you on Saturday. He is trying to ease back into moving water after a mess of a broken leg and I am (pardon me for stealing someone's handle) just a novice. We should be ok for a shuttle but would like some company that is familiar with the river.

Re: Rockport
Deuce according to the Entergy email Remmel will be releasing extra water all weekend. I'm not sure how that would affect a downriver run but it is worth taking note of.

Re: Rockport
Linda,
You and your son are certainly welcome. The Caddo is fairly easy stream at this level with basic boat-handling experience, but it is still a 7+ mile trip, uneven gravel bars to walk on, and the same if you should take a swim and have to walk in the shallow river bottom. We will be on the river for a minimum of four hours. If you feel he is up to that after his injury, you will be the best one to decide.
Best Regards
