I need your knowledge
I recently acquired a perception whip it, but the boat has no thigh braces. I don't want to make anything out of foam to glue in for a thigh brace, because of the way the boat is shaped and the fact that I think I would eventually break the foam in one way or another.
Does anyone have a retired old perception that would be willing to part-out the outfitting? Or does anyone have any experience installing new outfitting (liquid logic, jackson, etc...) into old perception boats?
Any suggestions/ personal experience is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Re: Calling all old school perception experts...
Mgood,
I'm no expert, but do love my two Perception Overflow Xs. It looks to me like the thigh braces are similar on the older models leading up to my Overflows, like the Piroutte and Dancer. The thigh braces came in two different models for mine, and each model was available in either short or long. All that aside, the thigh braces are heavy moulded plastic with foam pads applied to the inner sides. The thigh braces look sort of like two pieces, one on each side but is really a one piece, horseshoe shaped piece that locks under the inside of the combing and is secured with a screw on each side.
I'd think that finding a salvage set would be the way to go. The best I could offer otherwise would be to try and shoot a couple of close-up pictures of how it's arranged in my boats if it should be of any help.
