HELP GET LITTLE MO FLOW RELEASES BACK ON SWEPCO'S WEBSITE

Post by CAPTAIN ALEVE » Tue Jul 10, 2012 2:48 pm

SWEPCO has been forgetting to update the flow release infomation for the Narrows Dam on the Little Missouri River at Murfreesboro lately. I've sent them an email politely asking for more consistent posting of that info as shown below:

Please update the flow release schedule from the Narrows Dam on the Recreation page of your website. I rely on that information to schedule recreational use of the tailwater. Thanks.

Maybe if more people ask for this information to be updated in a timely manner, SWEPCO will assign the task more importance. Here's the link to their "Contact Us" webpage. Try to word your request differently from mine.

https://www.swepco.com/contact/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You might mention that the restaurants in Murfreesboro are missing out on some business when the schedule is not updated in a timely fashion.

Good news! SWEPCO has posted next week's schedule. They first posted the wrong week, and then corrected the post. No doubt all the emails they received played a part in bringing this issue to their attention. Thanks again to all who emailed them.

Nice teamwork.

Well played Mike!

Just checked Swepco. Coming week of 23rd they are running 3 hours starting at 3pm but on Friday they are cutting the flow down last hour. So if my back is going good I would like to go next Thursday with you Mike if your able and others.

Swepco has been doing much better - since Mike asked us to contact them, they have responded by keeping the website up to date.

I didn't want to be one of those who has time to complain, but never time to say thank-you, so I just sent a follow-up e-mail thanking them for dealing with our concerns. Anyone else who wants to do that can find the contact page at
