Spring River Trip - Memorial Day Weekend

Post by Chester » Tue May 22, 2012 9:29 pm

Mike Coogan and I are planning on heading up to the Spring RIver on Saturday to chaperone some of the floaters. We'll probably put in at Riverside Resort about 11a-12, and take out at Spring River Oaks.
I could meet anyone from this area at the Conway Exxon mart on Hwy 65, just north of the I-40 and Hwy 65 exit, about 7:00am, in time to leave at 7:30am.
Mike would meet those interested from down in LRock at the old KMart parking lot on Rodney Parham at 7am as well. Eventually we'd meet up at the Exxon by McD's at the Hwy167/Hwy64 Beebe exit. Then we'd get to Batesville about 9:30 and join up with anyone there from Clinton, etc.
Hollar back if you wanna go. We usually get back into Conway and LRock about 9pm-11pm.
Record crowds are expected this weekend.. :yahoo:

What a day!
The crowd on the river was the largest I had ever witnessed. And in one spot just above the Bayou put in, the AGFC had there guys lined up along across the river, checking out some of the boaters. :hammer:

My son spent the day at Dead Man's Curve. He said he saw more boo#@ than he had ever seen . . . (Chester, I think he's willing to share some landscape photos.)

Thanks, guys, for putting up with me.
