The times for the pool tomorrow are still 6-8, right?

My daughter and I are new boaters and we're planning on being there tomorrow night. It'll be our first showing at the pool.

We're planning on bringing our boats, skirts and paddles... anything else we should bring?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, pool times are 6-8 pm.

Sig, just bring yourself and a good attitude for fun! I may not be there, but hopefully someone will be to help get you guys started out right. Be sure to wash your boats off before you come in.

Have fun!

If you would like help learning to roll, you might also want to bring nose plugs and goggles (or if you have a scuba mask that will serve as both goggles and nose plugs). Having your PFD on can also make it easier for the person teaching the roll (it's a lot easier to support you in your boat using your PFD shoulder straps).

I'm hoping to be there tomorrow night.

Cheers,
Heather

Sounds like a plan... we have PFD's and nose plugs too. Looking forward to it!

There's a chance someone I know is going to come with their 2 young boys tonight...if anyone has any smaller gear or a kids size boat that wouldn't mind bringing it, it would be awesome (although it's not definite they'll be there, so I don't want anyone going too much out of their way).

See y'all tonight.

I can bring two extra paddles, but the rest of my gear wouldn't fit little kids!

Very Close! It's Cowper Chadbourn ;) :poke:

Chris, we couldn't have done it without you! I don't want to put "how to" instructions on the internet (even though good thieves already have better methods), but I have to say, it was something like a scavenger hunt - I asked for more than one or two objects to make the required "tools". On some, folks were looking at me funny and saying, "why do you need THAT?"

But each time, you went back to your car and produced the requested item, and then topped it off with one heck of a flashlight so we could actually see what we were doing!

I don't know if it is an omen or not, but after a couple of years without a single call, I've been asked to help get into 3 cars in the last week. (I'm LOVING it.)
