Used Boats?? Where are they??

So still being relatively new to not only Central Arkansas but to kayaking as well, I was hoping to leverage everyone's knowledge to find better resources in locating some used ww boats. Do most people just wait and hopefully the boat they are looking for pops up for sale on here or at OOO. Is there somewhere within and hour or two of Little Rock that has a good selection of used boats? If it helps or matters, I'm looking for a good river runner/creeker and have and extra boat to trade in or to sweeten a deal.(LL CR250)

I believe you've taken the best first step in posting here, or usually in the For Sale & Gear Swap forum as Want to Buy, and saying you want to buy a certain kind of boat. Those with one to sell always responds. As far as a store, I don't know about down there, but up in NW Arkansas we have a great shop (Ozark Mountain Trading Company in Garfield) that gets a large volume of used boats going through.
I was going to do it in a separate post, but I'm putting my Pyranha Karnali Large up for sale. It's in great shape and is a little big for me.

Post on for sale or trade section of website..
If you are interested in particular type of boat(Mamba..etc), list it there.
Should get some good options, you can post what price range you are wanting to spend as well..
There have been several river runners for sale in past month.

IF you travel, then boater talk and mountain buzz have gear swaps in thier forums. Since these are mainly forumns for eastern and rocky mtn paddlers you need to be abke to travel to get the boat.

App River Co in Virginia has used boats and they will ship from Old Dom hub to another.

Kayak Instruction has used boats; they are in Dallas.

Thats funny MaxTexan, I'm actually a recent transplant from VA and I bought my first boat from Appomattox River Company. Small world. Maybe next time I go home I will check them out. They have a store close to my hometown but it was vacant except for 1 or 2 touring kayaks and some old accessories. Quite sad actually. I have to make the trek to the flagship store in Farmville one day. Thanks for the info!

I am a east coast person originally... DE, NJ, PA and WV. I did not know of ARC until "Owl" bought a boat from them.
