Whitewater Canoe Discovery Workshop to be offered

If you are interested in becoming an American Canoe Association Canoe Instructor, the Arkansas Canoe Club will be offering a Discovery Workshop at the Whitewater School this year.

This is not a certification workshop, but a chance for potential instructor candidates to get some idea of what to expect in a certification workshop. They will also acquire some assessment of what they will need to work on to improve their chances as they work toward certification.

The focus will be on teaching skills as well as paddling skills. The cost of the workshop will be the same as the Whitewater School and will be lead by ACA whitewater canoe instructor trainer Walter Felton with the assistance of long time whitewater canoe instructor Marcell Jones.

Wait, is it too late for me to withdraw from instructing and sign up as a participant? Ignore that little detail about me already being certified... I'd love to take a class with Marcell and Walter.
