Put-in around 1:00 at about 12" on the bridge and 4.2 on the internet gauge. Right off the bat we could tell the river was going to have changes. The evidence of the flood was obvious from the old ruined inner-tubes and other debris in the trees from 15 to 10 feet above our heads. Lots of gravel has been moved and lots of under brush has been removed from the banks. No strainers to speak of except for the river wide tree across the river just above the Wall. Yesterday we were able to run over the top of it with speed but it could cause problems for some mainly because of the current. Nice level plenty of water and flow, no big waves or holes to speak of at this level, but was perfect for my buddy's first time and a step up from the Caddo. Meek's Falls was a nice drop at this level, the big gravel bar below has washed away and someone has built either a house or nice cabin behind the old gravel bar on river right. Curious why they did not put it on stilts or build it further back off the river, it looks like it would be in the normal flood plain, mostly under water if another flood like the last was to come through. We only stopped twice for a quick beer break  , and were off the river by 5:00. BIG THANKS TO BYRON AND HIS BUDDY for shuttling the truck down from 84 on there way back from the Tot. Can't wait to runner the Upper and see what has changed, has anyone done it since the flood?

SYOTR,

Thanks for the report! I love that part of Lil Mo. Havnt paddled it in couple of years and would like to again. Can you portage around the tree across the river?

Thanks for the report Adam! Several of us had a nice trip on the Upper Caddo yesterday, and even the Caddo has had some changes here and there... I'll look forward to the Little Missouri R when I feel more 'Cavalier ', when the water and weather everywhere is warmer :)

Best Regards
Jim Moose

Yes, it would be a simple portage.
