Guess I was wrong about the newspaper. Didn't see a thing today.

Re: Ilinois River contamination
Must have been pretty nasty stuff if it made the local news.
I sure hope they'll be able to figure out "who done it".
I think this is another good example of why we should all report what we see when we're out-and-about and things aren't right.

Thinking Illinois R near Prairie Grove... a branch of the Illinois runs into Lincoln Lake.
Should we be concerned about boat ball on Sunday of this weekend? The championship!

Re: Ilinois River contamination
I can say for 100% certainty that beatty branch and moores creek that make up 12 square miles of drainage that feed into Lincoln Lake are not the place where the contamination and fish kill are.
They are part of the upper muddy fork watershed that eventually pour into the lower muddy fork and then illinois river just a little south of hwy 16 bridge near wedington.
I could be wrong, but it sounds like in the article that the main fork/ headwaters of the Illinois River are the place near prairie grove where the incident occurred.
Championship could still be a go??

Yea, I shouldn't have just google mapped it and instead taken the time to think. Half Ton--you're right, the article was clear and there's no way that the contamination in the headwaters over by Prairie Grove could be fouling Lincoln Lake.
Uh, especially since the river flows north at that point...
I'll be at Lincoln Lake for festivities and boat ball, for sure!

Re: Ilinois River contamination
For those of us not in NW Ark, what did it say? Any hints they might be able to figure out who was responsible?

I heard something on the news about raw sewage.
Someone might have pulled the uncle eddie RV evac.
