It's really in fashion these days to be "environmentally friendly". I've got nothing against that. However, I frequently seem to run into situations where people or companies are full of crap and trying to pull the wool over my eyes. Normally, I don't say anything, but the other day this happened and I happened to have my camera. So, I am exposing them.
I got some ink for my HP printer. I thought it strange the package said on front "New package, same great ink." I don't know why they needed a new package but OK. Then I looked on back and it stated all the benefits of this new "environmentally friendly" package. I opened the package and inside was:

That's right, the original not environmentally friendly package was inside of the environmentally friendly package. The original package was even set up to hang on the pegboard! So, some wizard has determined that it is a good idea to use 2.5 times as much packaging as is necessary, so that they have room to brag about how recycleable it is.
Discuss amoung yourselves.
