Fortunately is kayaking...when do the rains come and the rivers turn on here in Ark. I tried playboatin but thats depressing...I gotta get down the river!

Best bet is to do like rest of the desperate Arkies and head east to the Ocoee this weekend :mrgreen: Since it is dam released you are guaranteed two days of boating!

The more You CAN do the funner it is. Mabee you are doing somthing wrong. :poke: or nothing at all.

Well just moved here from living 10min from the Big T (Which they keep releasing from even now), 30min from the Poudre, 40 min from clear creek etc...I'm use to playing on the way down not in just 1 spot.

PLEASE river gods turn the rivers here on! :drool:

keep in mind that prior to about May of this year, we've had 2 years of solid rain. Now we're in a drought. This winter may produce a lot of rain, maybe not. I've heard rumors that we've been in an El Nino weather system for the last couple of years and now we're entering a La Nina system which is dryer. I just know I'm washing my car and keeping my windows rolled down.
