Pyranha Varun First Impressions

The Varun has Landed!

Image

Ouachita Outdoors just received their new DEMO Pyranha Varun. There's a lot of buzz going on about this boat and with good reason. At first glance it looks like a squashed-down, stretched-out version of the Molan. Soft, rounded edges, longer slicey ends, and a low deck height look to combine to make a very friendly downriver playboat while the hull still keeps the full-length carving chines from the Molan. Pictures don't do the boat justice as this is one sexy downriver Padillac--you really need to see it and sit in it for yourself. Too bad it didn't come in time for 'Vous...

Check out the Specs Here

Currently Pyranha is only producing the Medium size (140-230lbs paddler weight). Demand is high and supply is low so there's plenty of time to try the demo before the retail models get here.

Pray for rain so we can test the demo boat on the river!

P.S. Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters is now a collection site for the Travis Wants a new Varun Fund. All donations are non-tax deductible and will be greedily accepted by yours truly.
