Current River & Eleven Point River

Post by Wildwood » Thu Jul 01, 2010 10:39 pm

I need info on both the Current and Eleven Point Rivers. I can't find much about putins and takeouts on the Current.

Thanks. Jan

There's quite a bit of information on both rivers here:

I also find A Canoeing & Kayaking Guide to the Ozarks by Tom Kennon a wonderful resource.

Tried to float the current this spring. Think you will have to do it in missouri. There is one game and fish access in Ar. Everything else we could find were highway crossings with no real access and tons of heavily posted private land. You could maybe do a long float from the g&f access and take out on the spring. Please let us know if you find a stretch in Ar. with good access. Peter
