Want to go fishing and exploring Saturday Morning?

Post by Phil W. » Fri Jun 04, 2010 6:39 pm

I'd like someone's to go with me as I shouldn't go alone. Tomorrow just north of Dover at the Illinois bridge I promise a fun filled and fishing if you like time. You can ride with me or in your own canoe. Since we will be dragging (which sounds scary but isn't, I could even do it for you) our boats up the rapid places to get to the long pools to fish in or just relax in. I can take you to the Gar Hwy, Rolling Rock rapid and maybe even the S turn rapid. Let me know...By the way I used to take 3 other people in one canoe up this section, and we used to catch many fish in a super clean Bayou.

That actually sounds like a very fun adventure. Unfortunately I have a less adventerous commitment for tomorrow and will not be able to accept your open invitaton for the pleasure  of floating upstream in your canoe as you tow it over the gravel. Perhaps another time. Thanks for the offer. I hope too many folks don't take you up on it or you might get too exhausted to fish.
