The Federalies eradicated the boll weevil for the cotton lobby. I'm wondering if the new bevy of Republican hopefuls could make a campaign issue out of the eradication of the buffalo gnat for the paddling community and outdoor enthusiasts at large.
Unfortunately it would probably involve coal burning plants in Logan Co.

I agree! Buffalo gnats hurt like hell! I just hope there's not another gnat plague like in '34. It makes my encounters with them seem, not so bad.
