Snow Pack and Levels

Post by bmartin » Fri Feb 12, 2010 9:48 am

Anyone have insights what might happen to the river levels tomorrow (Sat) when the temps warm up? Seems there is a lot of water locked up in the heavy snow. I guess to be a bit more specific, any chance a creek like Richland might be runable?

Looking to paddle tomorrow and will go to Cadron unless something in the central Ozarks might run.

the temps would hafta get up there in order to melt the snow fast enough to actually bring like say richland up to 3 feet and if it does itll prob be 12 midnight or the late afternoon when it runs there is plenty of snow up there but itll hafta get warm to melt it
