Snicker.......OT Maybe

I've felt the touch of healing hands, neath the willow trees and birch, cause the water's my religion, and the river is my church. Kenny

cannot remember the details, but I saw a write up on one of the many msg boards I sometimes monitor about this incident.

According to the trip report post, this is real. A wrecker came and pulled the Suby out of the river. No real damage and the boating trip continued on.

Think it was on the NF Payette. Idaho for sure!

It reminded me of that scene in Romancing The Stone, where they are in the car, in the river, being rushed down stream, and Kathleen Turner is steering the car, turning the wheel, as if it would help, and Michael Douglas says to her "what are you doing?!?"

Is there anyone running the N.F. of the Payette comfortably yet?

Brian Ward from Arkadelphia is now living in Boise and was with the guys when the Suby got away from them on a drive by scout and it went swimming.

I just got Brian Ward's uncle started in kayaking. I get updates, trip reports and such through him.

This is from Brian's (B Real) website. Scroll down to photo 9 and 10.
