Just wanted anyone and everyones opinion on the these three brands of paddle.
OR any other brand that might be worth a look.
I know most people use the Werners. I have seen a handful of AT's, and zero Mitchells.
I am looking really hard a the Carbon fiber Werner Sherpa, but could stand to research others base on comments here.
Thanks guys!

Re: Werner versus AT versus Mitchell WW kayak paddles
Lots of Werner paddles in Arkansas alright. No issues with any as far as I know. Mitchell makes a good paddle. I don't think they are tough enough for bashing rocks with. They are beautiful, well constructed paddles. Their are a lot of A.T. paddles out there. I hear of more of them leaking water into the shaft or having little bits moving about inside the shaft. Some make a pop or creak from the center where they are joined together. Ida know.
I also started paddling with a thirty degree offset paddle fourteen years ago, when I ordered my first custom length and offset paddle. For years I got razzed for paddling with such a short paddle, a 196cm. I just told em I didn't paddle much anymore, so I didn't need much of a paddle.
Now by the current days standards, it's a little longer than most. Oh well.
I hope you get your stuff together before all the water goes away.
Good luck.

Personally, I prefer AT whitewater paddles for the feel of the bent shaft. You can't go wrong with a Werner though.

Re: Werner versus AT versus Mitchell WW kayak paddles
I like the Werner bent shaft off set much better than the AT - had a couple AT's and for me the AT design just does not feel right
The Werner bent shaft design feels much better to me
Just my opinion
I have a werner double d foam blade bent shaft paddle and it is a great feeling paddle - my bent shaft design of choice
I mostly paddle straight shaft paddles just because they seem to work better all around for me
You cannot go wrong with a Werner paddle these days as they are the quality manufacturer these days
