FOR YOU HAILSTONERS: RADAR SAYS 2" TO 4" JUST FELL THERE

Post by CAPTAIN ALEVE » Fri May 01, 2009 9:10 pm

Here's a link to a radar preciptation site I've been using lately:

http://www.weatherforyou.com/cgi-bin/hw ... Height=480" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Check out the 1 hour preciptation estimate for the southeast corner of Newton County. Whoops! Edited correction: southwest corner

And the night is still young.

Noticed Bear got hammered to, unfortunately it is way to early in the evening, and there is likely far to much wood down in that sucker.

Nogo and Snow Creek ought to be huge tomorrow. It'll be interesting to see what shapes up the rest of the night.

That site has only small, medium, and large modes and large is not real big. It takes a while for the annimation features to load, so be patient while the 24 hour data gets ready to be displayed.
