UPPER OUACHITA FRIDAY 24

Three of us from Haughton, La. are paddling the upper Ouachita Friday as part of the BCOS adventure weekend. Probably Pine Ridge to Oden, maybe Shirley Creek to Pencil Bluff. ACC members and Arkansas paddlers are welcome to join us. Will post definite location Wednesday night for Friday 10 am meeting place, or join us at Mt. Ida Cafe at 9:00. Nice laid back day seeing a not-often-paddled part of the river and messing around with eddies, ferries,S-turns.

Glad you can join us, Minna. If Mike & Mike and I don't see you Thursday night at Ouachita Haven can you try to be at the Mt. Ida Cafe by 9:00 am Friday? It is on your right on Hwy 270 in the middle ot town on you way to Ouachita Haven.
We'll get there about 8:30 for breakfast so come earlier if you're on the road Fri. morning.

Gotta check at work tomorrow..Do u get cell phone reception in mt Ida?If I cant leave tomorrow i will come Fri am to breakfast.I think its @ a 4 hr.drive so if I leave at 5 i should be there at 9.I think I have your cell,mine is 870-310-0034.I sure hope I get off!Minna
