what section are you floating?

If you're at the Turner Bend store around 10:00 AM on Saturday there's a good chance you'll find others to paddle with. I'll probably be there myself.

See everyone there at Turner, I think we are going High bank down. I hear the tree is back at jump start.

I paddled High Bank to Byrd's for the recent trash pickup. There was a tree across and you had to catch a chute between the root ball and a boulder.

I will be on Mulberry Saturday with several other people. We are planning on getting on the water around 11 or 12. If you want to join give me a call.....870.Seven One 5. Zero Six 4 Eight.

I'll plan on it. I would like to put in at Wolf Pen...hopefully.

I'd vote for a Wolf Pen to Byrd's (or Whoop-n-Holler) run myself.

I have no problem with novices provided they have appropriate gear and a modicum of common sense.

Oh yeah, where is this 'wolf Pen'? And Turner Bend Store? I'm blond and from DC so I am completely lost.

Hwy. 23. Hard to miss. Look for a store that has cars with boats on them, and look for motorcycles.

The Turner Bend store is about 13 miles north of I-40 on Hwy. 23 (Exit 35).

Wolf Pen is an access point on the river off Hwy 215 upstream about 16 miles from Turner Bend. The section that I mentioned, Wolf Pen, to Byrd's is about an 8 mile trip with some of the more entertaining rapids on the river.

I plan on being at Turner Bend around 10:00 AM.

Does anyone want to hit it earlier than 10 am
