nathan...just a heads up that there is a cedar treetop blocking the river about 20 yards above Splat Rock that was scetchy (spl?) on Wednesday at 3.3'. This is where the river is narrow between two large boulders with the treetop being "leaner" on the right side of the shoot. I ran it and was kinda concerned if my bow would go over the tree vs under.....but made it okay. If the bow had gone under the tree, it would prolly bend enuff to avoid a total pin and allow a boater to escape but maybe would damage (tear) a spray skirt or worse. I got out to see if I could unlodge the tree but it was too big and I had no saw. Others portaged the spot.

If the tree I'm thinking of is the same...then Cowper cut it out.
