Bob Hedge Memorial, Let's Go! (Sunday 3-22)

I considered adding on to one of the other threads that are already memorializing Bob, but since some folks no longer look at the "stickied" topics, I decided to start a new thread.

I've decided that although I only knew Bob as a river friend, I want his "first family" to know that his "second family" will miss him too. So I'm going over to pay my respects. I'm taking a boat, and if the Tot bumps up, after the memorial I'll go run one or more of the Falls and think of Bob. If not, I'll just hike there.

It is not my place to suggest that people who never met or knew Bob should do the same; I think he'd be perfectly happy knowing you were on a river or spending time with YOUR loved ones instead. Even if you knew him, I'm sure he'd still be OK with that choice.

I just wanted to offer up what I've decided, in case that helps anyone else out there is still thinking about it and undecided. You won't be the only "stranger" in Wickes.
