I wish, i'm recovering from a disc surgery, i'll be back out boating in a couple of weeks. Tim P.S. I would think some creek boaters would be running the falls for some good practice today, its still early and the water looks like it will hold. Tim

Man, I'd love to be able to go and run laps through the falls but hauling my canoe up those rocks is just too much of a pain. Remind me again when it is we're getting that conveyor belt boat retrieval system installed out there??

In all seriousness, I wish there was some way there could be a trail that one could walk back up w. an open boat. Getting to run the falls over and over and over would be a dream come true.

Ryan threre is a trail to get up from the falls so you can run laps, its just a little hard to carry your canoe, but it can be done and some canoeist do it. If i'm down there sometime i won't mind givin ya a hand with your canoe. It makes for a good workout.

Is it on river left or right? I've never explored the right side too much, but on the left side, once I go past Washing Machine it's like mountain climbing w. my boat, lol. And I've never tried going any further than Washing Machine and climbing back up, but it looks pretty strenuous.

The trail is on both sides of the river. You have to hike up the river right side if you go below whiplash, hike up, put back in the pool below the machine and paddle over to the river left of the machine pull your boat up and bam! your ready to hike up and put in where ever you want or just go on to the top, back to the falls campground. I will have to show you or just watch the kayakers hike. Tim
