Sorta OT: Paddler Magazine

Post by nike54_la » Wed Jan 14, 2009 12:26 pm

First off, I move a lot. That being said, I have a subsciption to paddler magazine that I have hardly ever received. I have moved 4 times since my first sign-up and once since my renewal. I know I've changed my address on the website at least once but only ever received magazines at my first subscribing address. Does anyone have any contact information for customer service or anything? I've changed my address online again but is there any way I can recover all those magazines I should have gotten? Has anyone else had this kind of experience with the magazine? Thanks.

Linda,

The overall website is http://www.paddlermagazine.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; however the subscription, circulation& distribution dept. lists their phone number as (540) 907-4486. Hope this helps.

On an unrelated Paddler Magazine question, does anyone have any idea of what kind of 'duck-billed looking' kayak that's on page 5 of the Sept.-Oct. 2008 issue?

Best Regards
Jim Moose

Thanks, Jim. I couldn't find a customer service number. Only advertising and promotions. Guess I didn't know where to look. Thanks again.

I also never got another issue of Paddler after my last move. Everything else made it fine so I don't know what happened with them. As far as kayaking magazines go though you can't beat Kayak Session's. It's a little pricey because it mails from Europe and you pay for it in a Euro price, but totally worth it. You won't even miss your Paddler.
