Buffalo River-Nov 14-16 Hwy14-Rush - VIDEO UPDATE
Greetings Buffalo River Dwellers!
As some of you may recall, I attended and shot a little video on Richard &
Eric's Buffalo run on Nov. 14-16. Well, hokay, so I bugged the living snot out
of everyone with a stupid video camera!
But there is an upside! Richard and Eric have most graciously granted their
permission for the release of "Buffalo River- Fall Run 2008"!
This is a completed video DVD of their Buffalo River run on Nov. 14-16, 2008.
If you were on this run and would so desire, Richard & Eric would like for you
to have a copy of this video. Thanks to them this DVD will be available to you
for no cost whatsoever.
However, as you might guess, there are a couple of strings atttached! This
video, or any derivative thereof, may NOT be posted on ANY website, nor may
it be offered commercially in any way. Not that anyone would, necessarily, but
hey! That's the shape of it! If you are agreeable to these caveats, were on
the Run, and would like to have one of these DVDs please fire off an email to
me including your full snail mailing address. Please don't forget to include
your name (first & last). I will start banging out these videos, if anyone
would like to have one, in 3-4 weeks when I return from the Wild.
Shoot your requests to me at coolercanoe@mchsi.com
I can't give away the ending, but I can tell you it features, among other
things, a beautiful still photo, a sexy strip tease, the Buffalo River Styling
Salon & Grill, and a cameo appearance by some killer baked goods. (Trust me,
that appearance didn't last long!) Not to mention all of your happy mugs
yukking it up and having a blast paddling the beautiful Buffalo River together!
Thank you Richard & Eric for an awesome run and a cool video to help us
remember it!
Now that is one sweet holiday gift from them to us! Right On!

Just one correction. Eric and I happened to be in the right place at the right time. All this effort is compliments of Terry Price. He is the one who you need to thank for the video and for joining with us on the river.
I hope it is just the first of many trips he makes with us.

Thanks Terry for putting this together. I'll look forward to seeing it. Hope to see you again on the river soon.

TERRY! Thanks so much for editing the video and allowing us to have our own copy. I really hope that Bea and I came out as photogenic as we felt! Oh, and the cleanup in the kitchen part should be hysterical.............Wow......
Hope to see you on the next trip...........maybe you shouldn't bring the camera though.

Well, you are certainly most welcome, Mike & sugarmtngal!
But please be sure to shoot a big gnarly “Thank You” to Richard & Eric. What they do on these runs is nothing short of truly awesome! I hope everyone knows how lucky we are that these guys set up these runs, and then go WAY out of their way to make it happen for everybody. Not everybody would, even if they could. For them, I suspect, it is a Labor of Love! It was their run, it’s their video!
I promise you, sugarmtngal, you guys all came off like the Rock Stars that you are! I don’t know why you would want me to leave the camera at home! It loved you!
But should you have any complaints about the DVD, please feel free to direct them to me, personally, at heyatleastitdidn’tcostyouanything.com!
By the way, sugarmtngal? If you would like to be hooked up with one of these DVDs , please be sure to fire off an E to me as per my original post!

We did paddle the same weekend last year...I think that makes it a tradition...not to mention I'm off that weekend. Plus, by that time hopefully it will have rained and I can paddle the Cadron on my way home too.sugarmtngal wrote:RICHARD: Heard thru the grapevine the next trip in week of the 20th?

13th, 20th or 27th are all options depending on RAIN.
IF the river continues to be low, this is my recommendation for the 20th

If I'm not paddling, I may be hiking the Buffalo River Trail. :)Richard wrote:

Terry, you did a fabulous job with the video. Merry Christmas to you and your family. We did have a fantastic float that weekend. You captured it all!
