If reported will the forest service fill it in? The road to & from Shores Lake is fine (crosses the put in for Salt Fork), which is another alternative to the Campell's cemetary route.

Yeah Max I have to say, I was a little nervous being all by my self going through the hole from hell. I tried to skirt the deep muddy part where Rob got stuck and slid into the bottomless pit, and as you know I had to give er hell and did some minimum damage to the front of my truck.
Who maintains these roads? Is there someone to contact on trying to get it fixed? If not, I say that a few of us could load creek rocks in the back of a few pick-up trucks and fix it for a while. Any suggestions?

"If you want something done, you just gota so it yourself" let me know I'll try to help out. It might be an idea to do it while it is still sloppy. That way the rocks would sink to the bottom, and we could really fill it in solid. Otherwise, they might just fall out from under your truck when we try to cross. Just hollar at me.

Drove back through it after the 1st and third bunch softened it up for us, but it only wagged its tail and popped out the other side like a house cat coming out of a drain pipe on a rainy night:)
Hehe, nice decription Dog.

I made it through the hole no problem on Sunday too, but it kept on raining and getting softer and by later on that week it turned into a bottomless pit.

If you guys get together to go and do some work on that, let me know. I am game and will come and help. We might even pick up a couple pick up loads of gravel from Arkola in Alma to help sure it up. Just let me know.
