Recreational opportunities at rendezvous

Hi Jim,

It's great to hear that you & Marlo plan to float on Sat. Our thoughts were with you today as you laid your mother to rest.
I know it's been a difficult past couple weeks for both of you.

Dave's cousin is planning on joining us & 11am @ the ledge should be fine! Look forward to seeing you & Marlo.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I echo Jim E's sentiments, as I cannot express them any better.

Team Fletch is now down to just 3 paddlers, but we are still on and planning to be at the Ledge at 11 am on Saturday. I am still bringing my canoe trailer so we should have plenty of room for extra boats on the shuttle.

My condolences to you and Marlo over the passing of your mother. I never had the pleasure of meeting her but have no doubt to the kind and loving character that she must have been! For it is evidenced through you, her son! A wonderful man you are and that a takes good upbringing and it is obvious that your parents did a good job. Hold your head high, enjoy the weekend and the time that you are able to paddle! Hope to talk over the next few days of Rendezvous as I always enjoy your company!

Jim,
It has been a long, long time (years) since I looked at the ACC message board. Today, this is the first thread I read, and I am so sad to learn of your mother's passing. I lost my mom just two months ago, so certainly am sensitive to what you are going through. I hope for the best for you and Marlo in finding peace and comfort in the days to come.
I am still working out my weekend schedule, but may see you on the river this weekend.

Thanks to all of you for your sweet thoughts for my Mother, and for me too, you have all always been so nice!
We are looking forward to floating and visiting tomorrow, and maybe to a fuller participation in the Rendezvous next year.
