What a great float today with my new friends Chris and Hannah (sp)? Hope it will be the first of many and the rest of my family will get to know them as well. Many thanks to Doug for lending me a paddle. I have a great boat, but it doesn't do all that well without one.....

No problem Duece. It's hard to steer without one

Like Deuce said; a great day on the water. We too hope it will be the first of many rivers trips together. Look forward to meeting Mrs. and Little Duece. Always enjoy the view from upriver approacing the ledge when there's myriad of colorful boats at play.
Duece forgot to mention the 2 eagles we saw, one of which was practically right on top of us.

Chris,
I was down sitting at The Ledge in the shade, visiting, and shooting photos
yesterday. I was hopeing to get your party as you hit the drop but decided to pull out about three to go home and get off my feet. Marlo and I will look forward to joining you all maybe in another week or two. Glad you met Deuce and vice versa.
Best Regards
Jim

Jim,
sorry we missed you. We got there about an hour after you left. Look forward to paddling with you and Marlo again soon. Hopefully Felicia will feel like paddling soon. I think she is suffering from Lack of Yak'ing Syndrome.

If you guys come back to the campground with the kids there is another less crowded place to swim and play. You can walk ESE on the trails to the waterfall or paddle from the second cove on the right headed toward the dam. When I paddle the lake for exercise I like to get out there to cool off and rest.
