Nice clean-up work guys! Have any of you met the two guys that come down every year and do an 8 day float on the Buffalo and pick up tires as they go? You can't miss them with their aluminum canoes shined up like they're ready for a show. Met them last year on a 4 day float with my dad...good guys and even camped with them one night.

Torpedo, very tempting, but I had other plans for today. I hope you'll give me a raincheck on that offer to help. Doug and I will try to give more advance warning next time if we see an optimum clean-up day approaching. If we get 3 or more participants with canoes, I think we could get all remaining large items on this stretch of river. I'd like to coordinate it with Wildwood and make it a combined road +river clean up day.
Perspective; no, haven't had the pleasure, but I bet I'd like them.
Chester, you have until at least Monday to go pick it up; the pile is at the stop sign just South of the bridge. But you'll need a bigger truck to put it on; one of those puppies was tractor-trailer size.

Cowper,
I really like that Bluehole canoe you're in, it's truley a WW Cargo Canoe!
It makes me want to get mine out more...
Best Regards
Jim

And there I was thinking that the bike was Cowper's "green" shuttle vehicle

I wondered that too Chris.

Think you hit the nail on the head. He just didn't want to admit to it.
