Would I get to do the poke or have to take the poke?
My point is, the very kind folks who took on the task of making all this software work - need all the support we can give them.
since I am retired, I have a lot of time (when not on a river somewhere) to have fun reading and posting on this message board. It's not

but

non the less.
Making me very protective of those who make it possible.
Anyway, I have a lot of fun with this stuff especially when I have been house bound for a while. Today, Tulsa has warmth and sunshine and me and the little Auzzie Shepard have been outside having fun throwing the ball.

Okie Boater I agree. I can live with the glitches in order to have this valuable resource.
Who on here used to call Moores for the Piney level and hope your buddies showed like they said they would (pre cell phone and internet)?

Well I remember the days when us Tulsa area boaters would do the best we could on Friday reading the weather forecasts off TV. Then trusting our gut feelings, drive over to places like the Piney, Cossatot, Richland Campground etc after work friday late. Sometimes our AR buds would take a reading on creeks close to their homes and give us a call.
Some times we would hit it, but a lot of times it was find a pool somewhere on a creek and roll practice then head back home. Often times we did hit it but it was mostly luck.
Then came the internet for weather, cell phones for communication, gages for info and Fish did the Ozark Pages which had all the goodies in one place. It all fell into place. Some of us have all sorts of weather URL's still bookmarked.
These days, I think it is pretty awesome to be able to check the msg board to see who is going where and you can make much more accurate guesses on what is running.
Technology marches on, boats get better and with modern coolers
stays cold all weekend!!!!
Life is good!!!!

Retired=Czar in my book.
Nobody will judge you if you sit there all day drinking beer as long as I don't have to take 15sec to log in each time. I'm up to at least 5 min now. I may as well be sniffing arsenic.

Ladies, Gents and the ships at sea!
Fish and I have stopped

each other in public
In private, we are working with the unseen hero's behind this entire computer thing. Our goal is to make as many people happy as we can.
With Fish's extended technical skills and what I/T management skill I am trying to remember, we may be able to provide some amount of relief.
So, bear with us and let us do the up front discovery before you guys put us on trial.
Maybe at some point in time, we can all be

and not
Maybe the rain that is forecast for this week end will get some of us out in boats!
