Headcount for the Winter Board Meeting + directions

Post by OzarkTom » Sun Jan 31, 2010 10:14 am

The information about the meeting can be found above in announcements.

I need to establish a head count for this coming weekend for food etc.

If you are attending, please let me know how many folks you're bringing and if staying over, which nights.

Also, don't forget to bring your boats and if you wish, your hiking boots. I think Roger Keesee may be leading an Indian Creek hike down to Kyle's Landing if the snow melts off.

Either PM me or send an e-mail to Ozarktom@gmail.com

Directions to Buffalo Lodge

From Ponca or Boxley - Take 74 East toward Jasper, you’ll pass Mt. Sherman fire dept, then the Camp Orr/Kyle’s Landing entrance both on the left, just after that, you’ll see the 4’x8’ Buffalo Lodge sign on the right. Turn there and follow it to the end of the road to your cabin.

Coming from the north – Take 65 south into Harrison, Arkansas. In Harrison take Hwy 7 south to Jasper. In Jasper take 74 West toward Ponca, go approximately

4 ½ miles and you will see the 4’x8’ Buffalo Lodge sign on the left. Turn left there and follow that main dirt road about ½ mile. It will dead-end at a circle drive at Buffalo Lodge.

Coming from the west Fayetteville area - From Fayetteville, Arkansas take Hwy 45 to Highway 412 then turn right on Hwy 21 to Kingston. Take Hwy 21 into Boxley Valley and turn left on Hwy 43 toward Ponca. Then go right (east) on Hwy 74 to Jasper, you’ll pass Mt. Sherman fire dept, then the Camp Orr/Kyle’s Landing entrance both on the left, just after that, you’ll see the 4’x8’ Buffalo Lodge sign on the right. Turn there and follow it to the end of the road to your cabin.

God Bless,
