I know It needs at least 250cfs for the nice stuff . but is it worth haulen my gear for even with rain ? Terry D (l.a.paddler) has run it low. There's a guy that lives in Ada that knows the area well - will follow up w/ his name when I think of it/find it. Takes a LOT of rain to fill the aquifer in the area and get that thing to run.
Let there be rain!

Ricky,
Pennington is not a class IV-V run. There is one drop that is a solid class IV (Penninton falss)with a class V line in it as well. The rest of the run is fun II+ III- type stuff. I am really looking forward to running it again, but I would not count on it coming up for your trip. Some of the runs over by Lawton seem to come up more frequently. They are going to go today it looks like to me. I may try to make an afternoon run down that way. I am going to be a little pressed for time though. If anyone is interessted in or wants info on these run give me a call 405-306-5067.
