Frog/Mulberry Sat/Sun Camping Combo!

Liz, Mike and I are planning a Central exodus to the far Western reaches of our fair state. We plan to leave Little Rock 8am Saturday to aim for a 10:30 meeting at the Rudy take out for a Freakin' Frog run, and then we're going to camp at Turner's Bend Saturday night and hit the Mulberry on Sunday before driving back home. Specific Mulberry plan TBD.

Feel free to join us for either day, or throw some camping gear in your car and join us for a February camping weekend!

No - the bigger stuff's all gone for us poor souls who couldn't sneak out of work this week. Best bests left for the weekend are well-known/on Fish's Ozark page...namely Frog, Mulberry, Big Piney, Cadron...also might be running Illinois Bayou, So Fourche (but I prefer both of those HIGH), Lee.

Frog probably will be best Saturday and might be low come Sunday, so feel free to head that way in the morning if you want to join up with us. Us Central Chapter folk will be happy to give you possible future ArkLaTex folks a nice welcome!!!

We're doing the last stretch - meet at hwy 282 bridge in Rudy. Don't remember how long of a drive from Turner's Bend, but it's not far at all. You'd have no trouble having a nice slow wake up at Turner's Bend Saturday morning and meeting us at the take-out to run shuttle at 10:30.

I'm game for a Saturday Frog run if you don't mind having a fairly new paddler along. My roll is looking great where I always go paddling but the rapids on Beaver Lake really aren't that difficult. Should be OK on the Frog, too, but I can't promise that I won't need mopped up once or twice. I'm sure I won't be an extended nuisance . Let me know if that sounds okay. Still thinking 10:30 at the Rudy takeout?

I am SOOOO looking forward to 2 days on the river and camping with my friends! This has felt like a 10 day work week...TGIF!!!
