Small Raft to Borrow over Labor Day

Post by Zach » Fri Aug 01, 2008 9:17 am

Does anyone have a small raft I could borrow over labor day (I'd be happy to pay whatever you think is reasonable for wear and tear/rental)?

I'm heading to the Ocoee (probably Nanty too) and my parents want to come along. I'd feel fine sticking my dad in a ducky, but I just found out my mom is interested too and that might be a bit much for her.

Probably take them down a run on the Nanty and a run or two on the middle Ocoee (I'm not sure they could handle double runs in one day, so they'll probably be geriatric shuttle bunnies the rest of the time).

Thanks

We'll probably have two rafts out there then. We'll be using them, but right now I don't think it would be a problem to take a passenger or two. Maybe an option if you don't end up borrowing a raft.

Zach,

If Joanna and I make it out we plan on rafting the middle section of the Ocoee. Your parents might jump in with us possibly.

Thanks Terry and Bill, that may be a great option if I don't track one down.
