we were talking today while shuttling that the piney creeks chapter needs to put on a intro to canoeing and kayaking short class. Probably like the ACA essentials of river kayaking and canoeing class. we were talking about doing one night at the pool on March 22, then a day on March 24th & possibly the 25th at long pool. we would limit the class size to 10 for kayak and 10 for canoe & would need one ACA certified Kayak instructor and I would do the canoe part.
How long does it take to get the class registration form approved once submitted to ACA? do we have enough interest to fill a class? any kayak instructors wanna step up? we've got some kayak helpers id'ed. Not sure about costs, probably very reasonable & TBD in consultation with the kayak instructor.
Whadda ya think?
best, ty

Sweet! It wouldn't take long to get your registration approved through the ACA for the event. Shoot me a text or call me & I can give you more information on any questions you may have.
See ya on the water,
Rob

Probably not gonna do the kayak part, but if there's any canoers interested, let me know.

If you decide to do the kayak part I’d be interested in participating
