Hello all. Looking for thoughts on a good float to take my 4 year old on in or around Central Arkansas(Cabot,AR) this weekend. He has been on a few floats before, bout 2-3hrs each, in other states but i haven't got a chance to take him in AR.
I do have my own Canoe but shuttle availability would be nice but not a necessity if close enough. If water conditions don't work would even consider flatwater.
Thanks

Ouachita River from Remmel Dam to Rockport.
Little Red, several good sections between JFK Dam and Ramsey Landing near Pangburn.
Perhaps a little farther from Cabot and not quite in Central AR - Middle Buffalo, Strawberry, Caddo, Dragover section of the Ouachita.
And though not a river, Lake Sylvia is a great place to paddle and swim. Wooly Hollow State Park also.

Thanks Randy, will look into those.
Didn't think about when posting earlier but me and him actually spent a few days camping at Lake Sylvia early this year with canoe and it was nice. Didn't realize dam was there till we paddled up to it while fishing. He kept paddling towards saying he wanted to go over, I vetoed that idea though.
