"This beaver was upset for some reason we don't know". Heh! Am I the only one here that was ever attacked by a po'd beaver? Do not, I repeat, DO NOT poke a beaver with your canoe paddle. They can and will bite right through the blade and yank the paddle out of your hand. If you are dumb enough to hang onto the paddle... well, let's just say that you don't want to be in the water with 45# of bad attitude beaver.

Michael.

PS- Before you ask, Buffalo.

Might have been a mama beaver with young..... or just tired of all the tourist!

I know beavers like raccoons will take a dog down & drown them.... I give both a lot of space.
