That would be Sunday, right? My last trip over the 65 bridge will be tomorrow morning.
Besides, I start spring break this weekend. I'm looking to go west, young man! Wanna shred, Randy!

Would rethink making that long trip for the Salado since water level is 12 stones=paddle the pools/drag the rest trip.
Would make for a really long day. And only 20% chance of storms tomorrow.

Re: Salado Creek Sunday 3/17 if the water holds
Thanks for the heads up. My sources also report the level is lower than desirable. Geez, will the rain ever get here? I am heading that way for other things and hoping to have a little float time while there. Are there any other options in the area?

Might try the Strawberry River up north of Cave City near Evening Shade. I think you can get down it at current levels. PUt in is at Simstown Access just east of Hwy 167. Take out is at the Barnes Road low water bridge. Shuttle info, etc. can be found here:PropaneGuru wrote: Are there any other options in the area?
