Any North Central AR paddlers?
Any North Central AR paddlers?
New here and to the sport and wondering if there were any paddlers that frequent the North Central part of the state? I'm in Marion county about 20 minutes from the Buffalo and can be knee deep in Crooked Creek( if it has water) in 5 minutes! Looking to hook up and do some floating when the temps rise!

Hay, welcome to the board and club if you have joined up. The closest I can think of he guys over in Conway or a few over in searcy. You might want to look up randy Dodson or roger head as hey are in that area. Wolf bayou over there seems to be one of the spots they hit as well as some of the tribes of he little red above the lake. Good luck, ty

Live in Cleburne County near Greers Ferry Lake. Like coming up to fish Crooked Creek during the spring, summer, and fall. Wade or canoe depending. Watch the board for some possible trips. You can check FB for some stuff to since there is at least one page with Arkansas Open Boater as a theme.
Might watch for the Salado opportunity as well. I can post levels during the week if given notice.

Theres Bull, Roark, and Swan creeks are the main ones. I have only been on bull creek and looking for people that has been on Roark and swan before to take me along so I can learn what sections to float and learn where access points are. PM me on here, find me on facebook (Trent Fears), or give me a call anytime the creeks are running and we will plan a trip.
