Bayou DeView Trip Report, 9/12/2012

Post by Cowper » Thu Sep 13, 2012 4:20 pm

Rains from Isaac may have missed all of our whitewater streams, but they brought some of our favorite swamp floats in Eastern Arkansas back up to good levels. On Wednesday Debo, Mikki and I made a quick trip over to Bayou Deview, and were rewarded with a good float and the most extended “in the wild” hummingbird encounter I’ve ever experienced…

These great photos and this cool weather definitely has me thinking about coming down to the bayous. It was spring when we came down to Wattensaw and fall seems very appropriate to make the drive down to DeView.
