Extra-Large Skirt: Need to borrow or buy

Post by dcheshier » Fri Aug 17, 2012 2:45 pm

Does anybody have a sprayskirt, waist size XL, deck size XL (or stretchable ;-) that they'd like to sell or lend for a month or so? We've got a friend who is interested in boating and we want to give him a chance to "try it out" before he makes any major purchases ... we've got everything else to get him started on the pond.

Thanks!
Diane

Hope you're well Dave

Diane,

I have an older Perception LC-1 EZ Harmony Neoprene skirt that has an XL tunnel, but on this model the rand isn't marked as to the size, however it's one of two older skirts that fit my Perception Overflow X kayak. In the last few years I've switched to the Snapdragon skirts for ease of putting them on. The Snapdragon I have is marked XL and XL, and the older perception seems to be about the same size when I hold them together for comparison. You're welcome to use the Perception skirt if you'd like, my only advice to make it easier to install is to just thoroughly wet it first.
I'm going to the Ledge to float tomorrow if you're coming down, or I can send it with someone for you if you know of someone, just let me know by midmorning tomorrow and I'll bring it.

Best Regards
Jim
