canoe repair

Post by LawBranson » Tue Mar 20, 2012 7:54 am

Can anyone tell me the best method and product to repair an Old Town Discovery poly boat? Hole in bottom. We've tried the Kevlar repair kit from Old Town, doesn't work. Thanks. LawBranson@aol.com

have used marine goop and used dryer sheets on Royalex with a two part epoxy layer on top. no idea if that would work on poly though.

West System makes a very good product called G-flex. They also have a repair technical service for product use. Be sure to watch the G-flex destruction demo. Tough stuff! Good luck, Pad1dle
