Anybody Know anything about the Detox? Found a new one thats on sale for $699. To my inexperienced eye the pics look comparable to the Hero.

I have never paddled a Fluid Detox, but to me it looks like a compressed LL Remix 69 in the way it is shaped but similar to a Jackson Hero in size. The Detox is about 8 inches longer than the Hero and has about 5 gallons less volume but it is about a foot shorter than the Remix 69 and a little larger volume wise. It is a planning hull (just like the Hero and Remix) so the edges will be a bit more forgiving than the Nomad (which is displacement) and has decent rocker so it should disconnect from rocks/ledges and keep the bow up over holes pretty well.

Looks like a cool boat; Playak says the ideal paddler range is 150-250 lbs.
